Inspired by the idea of combining textiles with Swarovski Crystals and semi precious stones, designer Michal Yakar created a line of jewelry in 2003 while obtaining her Bachelors degree in accessories design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.   It didn’t take long for her unique designs to get selected by one of New York City’s most prominent retailers, Henri Bendel and publications such as ELLE magazine.

 

In recreating her line in 2009, Michal has taken her classic techniques of hand beading onto suede cord and implementing the age old technique of wire wrapping, self taught, to create an elegant aesthetic fitting for every woman looking to feel her most poised and beautiful.

 

Michal is dedicated to providing women with luxury and quality with her creations and honors customization of pieces to match every woman’s personality and lifestyle.  Michal works by appointment with her customers for a one-on-one experience to help create that one piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime.
